If you want to build a creative experience–say there’s a DJ party you’d like to hold, a band you want to book, or artwork you'd like to showcase–we’d like to invite you to partner with us.
We review partnership proposals and submissions on the first Monday of every month. The deadline for submissions is the last Friday of every month. The sooner you have an idea of an event and submit your proposal the better (even if it's six months in advance)!
Partnering with The Loft means that we can help you organize, run, and even partially fund your event.

Who can submit a proposal?
The Loft is all about UC San Diego. UCSD students (undergraduate and graduate), colleges, departments, or organizations can submit a propsoal. If you are an off-campus affiliate and would like to inquire about Loft partnerships, please contact Nicole Matteson, The Loft Coordinator, at nkmatteson@ucsd.edu.
Loft Responsibilities
As part of the partnership The Loft will provide:
• Venue
• Event and technical staffing
• Event listing in all standard Loft marketing
• All basic in-house equipment including stage, lights, sound system, screen, and projector
• Contracting of the artist
• Booking of the artist (if through agent)
• Event advancing
• % of artist fee / programming fee
• Ticketing set up through the UCSD Box Office (if applicable)
Partner Responsibilities
As a partner you will be responsible for:
• % of artist fee / programming fee
• Backline (if applicable)
• Accommodation (if applicable)
• Transportation (if applicable)
• Hospitality
• Box Office ticketing fees
• Additional marketing material fees to be approved by The Loft
