Enso String Quartet
The Ensō Quartet derives its name from the Japanese Zen painting of the circle, which represents the moment of chaos that is both creation and the fullness of the spirit. The Ensō has earned its place in the chamber world, claiming honors at the 2004 Banff International String Quartet Competition, the 2003 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, plus a recent Grammy nomination.
