New Century Chamber Orchestra

The New Century Chamber Orchestra (NCCO) is a prime example of musical democracy on a large scale. Musical decisions are made collaboratively, demanding an enhanced level of commitment on the part of the seventeen musicians that result in concerts of remarkable precision, passion, and power. Founded in 1992, NCCO, now led by world-renowned violin soloist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, breathes new life into the rarely heard jewels of the classic repertoire as well as a range of exciting contemporary work that the orchestra attacks with its signature vibrancy and zest.
