Calder Quartet
Perhaps the most versatile chamber ensemble on the scene, the
ArtPower! favorite returns for another thrilling engagement with
the Tentacle Sessions. This time they bring with them new work
from Australian-born composer Kate Moore, co-commissioned
by ArtPower! and the Carlsbad Music Festival. Having performed
with top rock and pop acts like Airborne Toxic Event, and Andrew
W.K., as well as acclaimed contemporary composers like John
Adams and Thomas Adès, the Calder share their commitment to
presenting the work of the next generation of composers for an
inspired evening of adventurous music. |
