Watch them shine on stage as they break into the mainstream. "Luminance is created to provide a new stage for Asian American musicians. The goal is to illuminate creative talent that has always been here but never acknowledged in mainstream media. Only very recently have we seen a wonderful growing presence of Asian American talent through free online media outlets such as YouTube and BlogTV. Through these outlets, Asian Americans sitting in front of their computers screens are finally able to identify with faces that are still never seen on TV or radio. The millions upon millions of viewers, supporters, and fans for these artists show that the talent and desire for them to be seen is there. Music industry heads just need to eventually recognize this.
