An airport transit lounge sets the stage for a clash of cultures in celebrated UK-choreographer Akram Khan’s new work, originally created with the National Ballet of China. In bahok, five dynamic performers in a range of dance styles go head-to-head with three classically trained dancers from the National Ballet of China in this powerful and poignant story about the struggle to connect and communicate across borders and boundaries in today’s world.
