A self-described “indie cello orchestra,” the Portland Cello Project (or, PCP, as their fans affectionately call them) has a deep-rooted philosophy of building a stronger music community through collaborations across all genres. Their performances are unique and eclectic—one might hear hip-hop mixed with Bach or a haunting cover of Britney Spears. These four cellists and drummer combine grace and gravitas to bring you the cello as you’ve never heard it before.
